Mixing
Prepare for mixing:
Please follow these steps.
1.Mix down of every track starting at zero.
44,1 or 48khz and 24bit mono or stereo wave files depending on the instrument.
2.Don´t use any master fx like compressors,eq or maximizers.
3.Name each track, Kick drum, guitar, vocals etc.
4.Put all the tracks in a separate folder for each song.
5.Include all the midi files starting at zero. (If available)
6.Include all the bpm information for each song. (If available)
7.Drums: Include a recorded trigger signal (audio) for each drum. (If available)
8.Guitars: Include clean DI-signals from all the guitars and bass. (If available)
9.No editing are included in the price, such as Drum editing. This must be done before mixing.
Please allow 4-6 days for mix and mastering.
(Album mix 8-10 songs. 30-75 min)
Exactly how long this will take, depend on your songs.
Mastering
Prepare for mastering:
Make sure your mixes sound good, and the levels between instruments balanced.
Mastering doesn’t make a bad mix sound great.
Mastering Stereo Files:
Stereo Wave or Aiff 16 or 24bit 44/48,1kHz.
Leave some head room.
Don’t use a limiter on the master buss.
Keep the peak level on your master fader around -6dB.
Stem Mastering:
Mixdown a stereo Wave or Aiff 16 or 24bit 44/48,1kHz for Each Stem.
Leave some head room.
Don’t use a limiter on the master buss.
Keep the peak level on your master fader around -6dB.

Stem 2 bass guitar
Stem 3 Kick drum
Stem 4 Rest of the drums
Stem 5 Vocals
Stem 6 Everything else
Upload files:
Upload 16 or 24bit 44/48,1kHz stereo Wave or Aiff files using
WeTransfer
Include band name, song titles, track list and album title.
Vinyl mastering:
Keep in mind that maximum play time for vinyl is 24 minutes each side.
WAV files ready for digital distribution, and DDP-Image is included as downloadable files.
DDP IMAGE FILE:
A complete track list and album title are essential for a DDP-image file.
